When the Nearest Hospital is 384,000 Kilometers Away

As humans prepare for long-term Moon missions, one critical question remains unanswered: What happens when an astronaut gets hurt up there? This talk explores the fascinating intersection of architecture, medicine, and space exploration. Discover how robotic surgery, remote diagnosis, and barrier-free design are reshaping our idea of a Lunar Healthcare Facility, from Earth's operating theatres all the way to the lunar surface. Know more about how AI, digital twins, and real astronauts in simulated habitats are being used to reimagine the operating room of the future. The answers emerging from outer space may soon revolutionise healthcare on Earth.
