Dan went on to make two Australia teams as a Para Discus Thrower and to launch his business, The Adaptability Movement, with his friend and co-founder Aben Haren. Dan shares both his journey shares with others through the Adaptable Academies his business runs - with a focus on enhancing the well-being of athletes, coaches and club to optimise performance on and off the sporting field. 

Bio

Dan Kirk had a decade long state football career before acquiring a life altering ankle injury. What followed was six operations that was filled with setbacks and struggles across all areas of his life.

Dan, along with his friend and co-founder Ben Haren went on to launch their new business, The Adaptability Movement in 2021 after 2 decades working and competing in high performance sport. Together with their team, Dan and Ben now help teams and organisations become more adaptable through the practical experience and workshops that help clubs and their members to build a culture that prioritises well-being and connection which in turn leads to better performances.

Dan will be sharing both his journey from able bodied athlete to para athlete along with the work he now does through his business The Adaptability Movement to enhance the well-being of athletes, coaches and club to optimise performance on and off the sporting field.
