How working on 19 odd gigs made me start MyGigsters
Arriving in Australia in 2015 as an international student, I noticed gig workers like myself struggled to keep track of their roster and finances. From this, I created MyGigsters, a financial services app that tracks earnings and expenditure for small business owners and gig workers.
Through this talk, I will share the story of how working on 19 different odd jobs helped me start MyGigsters, along with the technology behind the solution.

Benjemen is an International student turned start-up entrepreneur. He has founded multiple successful start-ups in Australia and India, including MyGigsters - a fintech start-up helping the self-employed. Benjemen won the Entrepreneur of the Year 2022, 40Under40 South Australia and Emerging Industries Award. He is passionate about creating positive change in communities and businesses.
