Bio

Dr Paul Geertsema is an academic and consultant in finance, data science and machine learning at the University of Auckland Business School. His research involves the application of contemporary machine learning methods to solving problems in finance and business. He has a PhD in finance from London Business School and has held roles at Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse and Citibank. Paul is a founding member of the Artificial Intelligence Researchers Association, where he serves on the board, and a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
