We've boundless plains to share, yet Australia's track record as a safe place for refugees and asylum seekers is nothing to be proud of. In her talk, Mary Crock will examine the dangerous lack of enforceable human rights protection in Australia and what this means for our future as a multi-racial society. 


Mary Crock is a specialist in immigration law, with 12 books and more than 80 articles and book chapters to her name. Supported by DFAT and UNHCR, she has recently led a six-country study on the legal protection of refugees with disabilities in displacement situations.
