Bio

Associate Professor Peter S. Field is Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Canterbury. He graduated from Columbia University, where he was classmates with Barack Obama. His expertise relates to American politics and the political culture of democracy. He is a frequent panellist on Radio New Zealand National’s The Panel with Wallace Chapman.
