Functional Resilience, Aspirational Resilience and Durability – How I Survived Being Shot 14 Times

During a high-risk arrest Derrick was shot 14 times in less than 5 seconds with a high-powered rifle. Lying on the ground with massive life-threatening injuries for 3 hours before being rescued, doctors literally don’t know how he survived.

Derrick will explore 2 models of resilience plus ‘Human Durability’. Human Durability is a philosophy that enables us to achieve optimal levels of personal and professional performance, while simultaneously reducing stress.
