Jing will help you understand collagen, the most abundant structural protein in our bodies. And, find out what role this potent protein might play in wound healing and how it may replace donor tissue in the future.

Bio

Dr Jingjing You is a Senior Lecturer of Biomedicine in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney. Her research aims to develop effective treatments for wound healing, including eye and brain injuries.

As well as academic successes, Jing’s inventions have led to 3 commercial products, including collagen bioinks used to make human cornea. She also established a university-based collagen production facility.
